Magnets on the back of the Switch Cover align with the screws of your wall switch. Feel it snap into place.

Where can I use my Kit?

It's portable and can be used in your living space, whether owned or rented. A great solution for dorms, hotels, and short-term rentals.

What will my Ring control?

You can use your Ring and Switch Covers together to control anything that an existing wall switch controls. Lights and ceiling fans are the most common applications.

Yes (IPx8 rated). Never needs to be removed for washing, showering, or bathroom use.

How far away does the Ring work from?

The Lotus Ring is able to activate a Lotus Switch Cover up to 30 feet away (think of a very long hallway!)

How accurately do I need to aim the Ring?

You don't need to be completely precise, but must be pointing in the right direction and within a 1-foot perimeter of the Switch Cover.

Do the Ring and Switch Covers need batteries?

The Lotus Ring and Switch Covers have rechargable batteries. 1 hour of charge provides months of use.

Can I purchase extra Rings and Switch Covers as I need them?

Absolutely! Any Ring works seamlessly with any Switch Cover. So you can add more anytime, and they’ll just work- no setup needed.

Do the Switch Covers work on all switch types?

We have Switch Covers that work with standard North American rocker and toggle switches.

Should the Switch Cover's black window be at the top or bottom?

Either way! The Switch Covers are designed for work, regardless of orientation.

Can I use the Switch Covers on a multi-switch panel?

Yes — it'll control whichever switch it's placed over, though two covers can't be used side-by-side on the same panel.

How do I remove a Switch Cover from a wall switch?

Simply pull it away from the wall switch until the magnets release. You will feel some resistance due to the strength of the magnets, which is normal and expected.
